Insurance

Physicians to Children, Inc. participates with most insurance carriers. We recommend that you contact your insurance policy directly to confirm your provider is in network with your plan. The major carriers we are in network with are Aetna (with the exception Aetna CVS Health through the Marketplace), Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UMR, United Healthcare Commercial plans, and Medcost. We participate with Virginia Medicaid and three of the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), which are Aetna Better Health Medicaid, Anthem Healthkeepers Plus Medicaid, and Sentara Health Plans. We do not participate with or accept United Healthcare Community Plan Medicaid or Magellan/Molina Medicaid.

 

Other insurance carriers we do NOT participate with are Centra Health, PHCS, Multiplan, Christian Sharing Ministries, Samaritan’s Ministries, or any other medical sharing program.

 

Please have your current insurance card with you at the time of your visit. You are responsible for the co-pay at the time of service. If we are not a provider for your insurance, you are not insured, or do not provide your insurance to us at your visit, you will be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.
