Robert Gard, M.D.

Robert C. Gard, M.D. was born in North Carolina and spent his childhood in North Carolina and Virginia. He received his BA in History and his MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served his residency at the University of Connecticut/Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford.

He moved to Roanoke in 2004 after working in Baltimore, Maryland for two years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Gard and his wife, Nadia, were married in 2000 and have two sons, John and Matthew and two daughters, Emily and Evelyn. He enjoys boating, water skiing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
