Dr. Michele Myers, M.D.

Dr. Myers was born in New York City and spent her childhood there. She completed her undergraduate studies with honors at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Dr. Myers worked at a research lab at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. After that, she worked at a bone marrow donor center and simultaneously pursued a Masters at the NYU school for social work. Dr. Myers received her medical degree at St. George’s University and her pediatric training at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. She completed one year of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, as well. Dr. Myers is board certified in pediatrics.

 

After building a Pediatric Hospitalist program and practicing as a Hospitalist in Mississippi for five years, Dr. Myers and her family relocated to Roanoke in the fall of 2023 to join Physicians to Children.

 

Dr. Myers’ outside interests include gardening, fishing, kayaking, yoga and crafting. She enjoys working out, hiking and driving her ATV through the woods. She loves anything Beatles and the New York Yankees.
